JugJugg Jeeyo has Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead, along with Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli,
Director Raj Mehta’s recent release JugJugg Jeeyo has opened to positive reviews from the audience. The family comedy drama, is bankrolled by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, and has Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead, along with Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. While JugJugg Jeeyo marks the film debut of Prajakta Koli, it marks the comeback to veteran actor Neetu Singh.
Maniesh Paul, who played Kiara Advani’s brother, has been receiving praise for his work in the film. The actor says that he didn't expect such a response for his work but knew that his character would be well received. The actor revealed that he saw the screenings of the film with his fans and that they were quite excited.
Talking about his co-star Varun Dhawan, Maniesh said that the Badrinath Ki Dulhania actor would often pull his leg and say that he needed to think like an actor, not a host. Maniesh Paul is a presenter and anchor, and said that when he held the mike in his hands, something would happen to him and that Varun would calm him down and give this piece of advice about thinking like an actor.
Anil Kapoor and Maniesh Paul were recently spotted promoting the film in Lucknow. Maniesh shared a video and captioned it, “What a day in LUCKNOW!! Thanks a lot everyone for all the love to #jugjuggjeeyo.” Music for the film is by Tanishk Bagchi, Kanishk Seth - Kavita Seth, Diesby, Pozy and Vishal Shelke. The lyrics written for the songs have been penned by Tanishk Bagchi, Kumaar, Abrar-ul-Haq, Diesby, Shamsher Sandhu, Ginny Diwan, Dhruv Yogi and Ghulam Mohd. Khabar. The film hit screens on June 24 to packed theatres and the post-theatrical streaming rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video and the film will premiere on OTT after the theatre run.
