Varshangalkku Shesham's first song, titled Madhu Pakaroo, is sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan.
The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film Varshangalkku Shesham dropped the first music video on February 29. The song, titled Madhu Pakaroo, is sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan, who has also penned the lyrics. Amrit Ramnath has composed the soundtrack.
In this song, Pranav Mohanlal, who plays the lead role, is seen singing at what appears to be a Ghazal night. The actor, meanwhile, certainly grabs the attention of viewers with his charming demeanour that resembles the classic roles played by his father and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal.
Netizens praised Pranav's similarity to his father's role in the 1990 movie His Highness Abdullah in the comments section. Additionally, some have asserted that the actor and Mohanlal share the same endearing smile and body language. Many others have also remarked that this song looks like the return of a classic Mohanlal.
A few have commended the director for consistently attempting to bring out Pranav's finest act. Some have also expressed how excited they are to see the actor in this film.
Dhyan Sreenivasan and Pranav Mohanlal are playing the lead roles in this Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial. The supporting cast includes actors Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Neeraj Madhav, Neeta Pillai, Arjun Lal, Nikhil Nair, and Shaan Rahman. Nivin Pauly is also appearing in a cameo role.
Fans were transported back in time by the film's teaser, as they recognised multiple shots of the main cast from iconic films starring veteran actors Mohanlal and Sreenivasan. However, the director of Hridayam clarified that the film's story revolves around an outdated song from the 1980s and is set in Madras. The problems that result from that specific song's remake after a long period of time are the subject of Varshangalkku Shesham.
The makers also revealed that the film is slated to release on April 11, clashing at the box office with Unni Mukundan's Jai Ganesh and Fahadh Faasil's Aavesham.
