Vineeth Sreenivasan, the multi-faceted talent is currently on a high with the success of his recent directorial venture, Varshangalkku Shesham. The actor-director, who used to take long breaks between his directorial ventures earlier, changed his signature style from the release of Hridayam and the recent super hit. Now, Vineeth Sreenivasan is reportedly all set to announce his next project, very soon. Shaan Rahman, the renowned music composer recently took to his social media handles and dropped a major hint about the same, recently.

After the successful theatrical run of Varshangalkku Shesham, Vineeth Sreenivasan has already kickstarted the preparations for his next outing in Malayalam cinema. The actor-filmmaker's best buddy and celebrated music composer Shaan Rahman recently took to his official social media handles and made a special announcement, leaving the cine-goers super excited. Shaan shared a couple of selfies with Vineeth Sreenivasan and actor-producer Noble Babu Thomas along with a caption that reads: “Our Next  @vineeth84 @noblebabuthomas #back #to #doing #our #thing #bestfriends #havingeachothersback #staytuned.”

Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s next?

Earlier, it was reported that the Varshangalkku Shesham director is planning to team up with Mohanlal and Nivin Pauly for his next directorial venture. Even though there is no confirmation on the same yet, Nivin revealed that he is indeed in talks with Vineeth Sreenivasan for a project, in a recent interview. Later, senior singer MG Sreekumar also confirmed that the project is indeed on the cards. Now, the recent updates suggest that the much-awaited project will get an official announcement soon. Noble Babu Thomas is expected to produce the project, while Shaan Rahman has joined the team as the music director.

Varshangalkku Shesham gets mixed reactions from OTT viewers

Meanwhile, Varshangalkku Shesham recently had its OTT release on Sony LIV. The Pranav Mohanlal-Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer, which is also available for streaming on OTTplay Premium, has been receiving mixed reviews from the audience after its digital release. Nivin Pauly and Neeraj Madhav, who made cameo appearances in the film, highly impressed the viewers with their performances. However, the cine-goers are unhappy with the casting of Pranav Mohanlal and feel that the star kid was unable to pull off the role.
