Varshangalkku Shesham Box Office Collection Day 1: Vineeth Sreenivasan’s ambitious project is off to an excellent start worldwide and is on its way to emerge as a blockbuster.
Varshangalkku Shesham Box Office Collection Day 1: The multi-starrer period drama, which is helmed by Vineeth Sreenivasan hit the big screens on April 11, 2024, as a Vishu special release. Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan play the lead roles in the movie, which features Nivin Pauly in an extended cameo appearance. According to the latest updates, Varshangalkku Shesham is off to an excellent start at the worldwide box office. The movie reportedly made over Rs. 3 crore from the Kerala box office alone on its release day.
As per the recent updates from the trade experts, Varshangalkku Shesham has made a total worldwide collection of around Rs. 10.2 crore on its release day. The movie collected around Rs. 3 crore from the Kerala box office alone, thus emerging as the second biggest opener among the Vishu releases of 2024. The Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial is performing extremely well at the overseas centers, and has made an opening collection of Rs. 6.60 crore.
The rave reviews, word-of-mouth publicity, and the increasing number of additional shows suggest that Varshangalkku Shesham is all set to have an excellent first weekend. The Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial is expected to cross the Rs. 10 crore mark at the worldwide box office on its second day of release. The movie, which is expected to perform even better on Day 3 and Day 4 (which is also Vishu day and its first Sunday), has a high chance of touching the Rs. 20 crore mark within the first weekend of its release.
However, the ongoing rift between the PVR group and Kerala Distributors Association will have to settle for the Vishu films to reach their maximum potential at the box office. If the issue gets settled today, Varshangalkku Shesham will be released on PVR screens across the country tomorrow. In that case, the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial has the potential to cross even the Rs. 25 crore mark at the box office by the end of its first weekend.
