Varshangalkku Sesham song release - First video song from the Pranav Mohanlal starrer to be out very soon!

Director Vineeth Sreenivasan announced that the first video song from the Pranav Mohanlal-starrer will be released tomorrow!

Director Vineeth Sreenivasan is gearing up for the release of his ambitious project, Varshangalkku Shesham. The latest from the film that stars Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles is that the first video song will be released tomorrow (February 29). Stay tuned for 6 pm to watch the song.

With an extended cameo appearance by Nivin Pauly, Varshangalkku Shesham is set in the 1980s and takes inspiration from an old song.

A fun and vibrant teaser for Varshangalkku Shesham

The teaser for the film features a cinematic masterpiece, with Pranav and Dhyan taking centre stage. The lead actors are in retro looks and are on a journey to Madras. The vibrant and fun teaser invoked nostalgia among fans, who compared several shots of the lead cast to veteran stars Mohanlal and Sreenivasan in their classic films.

Nivin Pauly’s hilariously dramatic entry in the last shots of the teaser has been well-received by the fans, who are eager to watch the Premam star make a strong comeback.

Actors Aju Varghese, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Neeraj Madhav, Neeta Pillai, Arjun Lal, Nikhil Nair, Shaan Rahman, and others also make memorable appearances in the short video.

Varshangalkku Shesham is set in Madras of the 1980s

There were speculations that Vineeth's film was inspired by the real-life stories of Malayalam actors Mohanlal, Sreenivasan and Mammootty, and their professional struggles during their early days in films. However, the Hridayam director has quashed all the rumours and revealed that Varshangalkku Shesham has "nothing to do with real-life incidents of Mohanlal and Sreenivasan".

He also revealed that the plot of the film is based in Madras and is about an old song from the 1980s. Varshangalkku Shesham is about the issues that arise due to the remake of that particular song after many years.

The makers also revealed that the film will see a Vishu release and will clash at the box office with Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham and Unni Mukundan’s Jai Ganesh. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Aadujeevitham will be released a day earlier, on April 10.
