Varalaxmi Sarathkumar on a roll, signs a new Telugu film Aadhya opposite Ashish Gandhi

The actress had recently joined the shoot of Samantha's multlingual Yashoda as well

Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who shot to fame in Telugu cinema with her memorable appearances in Krack and Naandhi in 2021, has signed another new project. She is all set to team up with actor Ashish Gandhi for a project titled Aadhya. PSR Kumar and S Rajinikanth are jointly bankrolling the project under Sri Sai Lakshmi Creations and Vintage Pictures.

MR Krishna Mamidala, who has also written the story and screenplay, will also direct the film. The regular shoot of Aadhya is all set to commence on January 11. The banner had earlier produced a film titled Shikaru, which is gearing up for a release shortly. Viswa Karthik, Hebah Patel, Kishore, Amitha Ranganathan, Raja Ravindra and Surya play supporting roles in the same.

D Sivendra is on board as the cinematographer of the project while P Sai Pavan Kumar is the co-producer. Ram-Laxman are roped in for the stunts. DSK Screens is presenting Aadhya. More details about the cast and the crew of the film will be announced shortly, the makers confirmed. The title role is a reference to Varalaxmi's popular character Aadhya in Naandhi.

Varalaxmi had also joined Samantha for the shoot of the multilingual thriller Yashoda recently.
