Varaham - Suresh Gopi-starrer mystery thriller to have a theatrical release soon? Here’s what we know
Varaham - Although the makers had stated that Suresh Gopi's mystery thriller would be released in theatres in April, it is reasonable to believe that it will finally make its big-screen debut soon.

With the release of their new motion poster, the makers of Suresh Gopi's upcoming Malayalam film Varaham hinted that its further details would be announced soon. Although they had previously stated that the mystery thriller would be released in theatres in April, it is reasonable to believe that the film will finally make its big-screen debut very soon.
Fans of the actor and movie buffs have been excitedly awaiting the film since barely anything about the story or characters has been revealed by the producers.

Varaham to open in theatres soon?
The release of some of Malayalam's highly anticipated projects in 2024, such as Vineeth Sreenivasan's Varshangalkku Shesham and Fahadh Faasil's Aavesham, might have led to the delay because there were fewer screens available for the mystery drama in April. The main actor, Suresh Gopi, may have kept away from participating in the film's promotions because he is running in the 2024 Lok Sabha Election, which may have made the producers hesitant to release the movie in April.
Varaham's filming was completed in February having taken place in a number of locations around Idukki, Palakkad, and Ernakulam. Expectations are further raised by the fact that Suresh Gopi will be playing a role that he has not previously performed in his career.
"If it's a Suresh Gopi movie, people assume the actor will be a cop or an investigator. In this thriller, Suresh Gopi would not be portraying a police officer," Sanal stated in an OTTplay interview.
Varaham cast and crew
Navya Nair and Mamangam-fame Prachi Tehlan will play the female leads in this film, which also has Suraj Venjaramoodu and Gautham Vasudev Menon appearing in lead roles. Santhosh Keezhattoor, Sadiq, Sarayu, and Sreejith Ravi are among the supporting cast of Varaham.
This movie, which is Suresh Gopi’s 257th film, is directed by Kunjamminis Hospital-fame Sanal V Devan. Under the auspices of Maverick Movies Private Limited and Sanjay Padiyoor Entertainments, Vineet Jain and Sanjay Padiyoor have bankrolled the film.
