Vanitha Vijayakumar's exit from Bigg Boss Ultimate was a shock for regular viewers of the show. The actress, who had picked up fights with many housemates from the second week, was found disturbed for a few days after which she decided to call it quits. She cited health reasons for her disinterest in continuing the show.
However, there has been speculation that she walked out of the show anticipating Ramya Krishnan's entry to the show as its host, post Kamal Haasan's exit from the post. Apparently, Vanitha and Ramya are not in good terms and many stories related to them have been doing the rounds on social media.
Vanitha took to Twitter to quash those as baseless rumours and said that her decision to leave the house has nothing to do with Ramya Krishnan's speculative entry to the show as its host. According to her, the decision to quit was part of self respect.
She tweeted, "To those silly gossip mongers who connect my exit from #BBUltimate to #ramyakrishna. I chose to respect myself...i was mentally traumatized and couldn't take anymore of the chaos...I chose to be brave enough to make a bold decision..i sincerely thank endemol and Disney (sic)."
The actress also added that she has made similar strong decisions in life earlier as well, and that she wouldn't regret her action. Moreover, the game, she said, is too silly for her. Her tweet further read, "Team for understanding my situation and cooperating with me .life gives you choices and you chose what works for you..I've always made strong decisions and never repented because I know what I want and what I am worth...too grown up for silly games..let the kids enjoy the drama (sic)."
Interestingly, putting an end of various speculation, it was Silambarasan who became the host of the show, replacing Kamal Haasan.
