The emotional drama has been in the news as several industry insiders who have seen the film have spoken highly of it in the press.
The filmmakers revealed a brand-new poster today and announced the release date. According to the poster, Vanchana will hit screens on November 8, 2024. Touted to be a gripping courtroom drama, the film stars Uma Mahesh in the lead role.

The story is based on a real-life incident involving the brutal murder of a church father in Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh. The film also features Surya, Rajendra, RK Naidu, and Sony Reddy in key roles. A unique aspect of the film is that Uma Mahesh not only plays the main lead but also directs it.
Vanchana has completed its censorship and received an A certificate due to its graphic and hard-hitting crime scenes. Vanchana has been produced by Chandi Durga Entertainments on a low budget but is rich in content, according to the makers.
Speaking about the film, director Uma Mahesh shares that Vanchana is packed with unexpected twists and keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. The teaser has already caught significant attention, and the theatrical trailer will be released on November 2, 2024.
