Valimai, Ajith’s action-thriller produced by Boney Kapoor, to release on Pongal 2022

Valimai is directed by H Vinoth, who previously collaborated with Ajith on Nerkonda Paarvai.

Ajith’s Valimai is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, with the superstar’s fans celebrating every small announcement and update about the film.

Producer Boney Kapoor recently took to social media and shared that the film will release in cinemas on Pongal 2022.

The movie is backed by Zee Studios and Kapoor under the banner of Bayview Projects LLP.

H Vinoth, who previously collaborated with the star in Nerkonda Paarvai the remake of Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s Pink, has helmed the film.

Apart from Ajith, the movie also stars Huma Qureshi as the female lead, in her second Tamil outing. Valimai also features Yogi Babu, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Pavel Navageethan, Sumithra and Achyuth Kumar among others.

With H Vinoth’s brief but powerful filmography and Ajith’s proven ability to be a bankable actor, Valimai has already become one of the most highly-anticipated upcoming movies.

Expectations are high for this action packed thriller, with fans already proving this point with multiple Twitter hashtags.

The most recent was #ValimaiTeaser, as fans started getting impatient about not having gotten a proper teaser for the movie yet.

This latest update will surely have them dominating social media once again.
