Vaishali Takkar was found dead by her father on October 16 at her residence in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Vaishali Takkar, 30, who rose to fame with her performances in soap operas such as Sasural Simar Ka, Super Sisters, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara and Manmohini 2 was found dead on October 16 at her residence in Tejaji Nagar, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. An old video of the late actor has been surfacing online with Vaishali commenting, “Yeh jo life hai na bahot precious hai”.
In the video, Vaishali is seen lying in a hospital bed talking about how precious life is. The actress suffered from jaundice at the time and advised fans not to eat food from outside and to avoid extreme partying which causes damage to the liver.
Vaishali was found hanging by her father when she did not come out of her room. The police also recovered a suicide note from the note indicating that she was being harassed by her neighbour Rahul Navlani and his wife Disha, as reported by PTI.
Vaishali’s brother Neeraj has stated that Vaishali came in contact with Rahul after she shifted back to Indore from Mumbai and met him in a gym. The actor has revealed all the details about their relationship in her diary and said that Rahul used to harass her claiming that he would never let her settle down. The constant harassment made Vaishali take such an intense step of taking her own life, stated Neeraj.
Rahul was arrested by the police on October 19 under sections 2016 (Abetment of suicide) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code, when he was trying to flee Indore and he is being questioned about the case. No information about his wife, Disha has been reported yet.
Rahu had reportedly fled the scene leaving his home locked making the police announce a cash reward of 5,000 for gaining information about the couple. The police even filed a lookout notice in their name.
