Besharam Rang the first song from Pathaan, caused a stir online as soon as it was made available. And if you believe that the chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is the only factor, you would be wrong. The talented choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant is the woman behind this song and many others like it.

The upbeat track, which was released on Monday and features lyrics by Kumaar and music by Vishal-Sheykhar, highlights the smokin' chemistry between Shah Rukh and Deepika. The music video opens with images of DP dancing to the lyrics while wearing a golden monokini. SRK is visible wearing a beach shirt. The manbun is visible in the video.

Vaibhavi Merchant is renowned for showcasing the sexiest portrayals of leading heroines in movies, like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Kajra Re from Bunty Aur Babli Katrina Kaif in Kamli from Dhoom 3, and the seductive Deepika in Besharam Rang.

She talked about the first song's experience with Deepika and how her choreography made it memorable. Vaibhavi told ANI that she probably made a conscious effort to make sure that the female leads are always depicted in a really aesthetically pleasing way in her body of work. For Aishwarya in Kajra Re she specifically made an effort to "improve" the expressions she used during her adaakari. Vaibhavi kept in mind what Katrina would look good doing when they were back in Kamli with her.

According to Vaibhavi, it doesn't matter if the movement looks beautiful on her or her assistants; it must look fantastic on the actor. One must always study the actor they are choreographing for. The choreographer continued by saying that, strangely, she has never been able to choreograph anything for Deepika until Besharam Rang. Because this is her first song with Deepika, she knew she had to make it extra special. When Deepika came up to her and said that, finally, they get to work together, it made Vaibhavi extremely happy. She told Deepika that she honestly wants to make this very special for her since this is their first, and she doesn't want to shoot a better song than this for her in the future.

She went above and beyond to make Deepika appear like the sexiest heroine India has ever produced. Vaibhavi wanted to make a big effort to present her in a way that she had never been before. She has to give the credit for the costumes to Shaleena Nathani. Deepika and her stylist get along well, and Vaibhavi was pleasantly surprised to see how at ease she was with herself. She is stunning in every frame, and she owns the song.

She also said that Deepika worked really hard to appear the way she does in Besharam Rang. She had a whole team, including a dietitian, a personal trainer, and Shaleena, who created exquisite costumes. She basically attacked every costume with an attitude of "yeah, she's cool to wear this, she's cool to wear that," which really struck Vaibhavi. So, the choreographer thinks that it really did make her think of a certain way to record this song. Vaibhavi also said that she couldn't make her wear those clothes or perform the routines the way they always do when filming songs.

Mallorca, Cadiz, and Jerez are three of Spain's most beautiful seaside cities, where Besharam Rang was filmed. In the next action-thriller movie, which is scheduled for release on January 25, 2023, in three languages, Shah Rukh Khan plays a gun-toting spy with a license to murder.

Given their epic blockbusters like Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year, SRK and Deepika are among the most prominent on-screen couples in Indian film history.
