Vaani Kapoor on making her OTT debut with Mandala Murders: Was looking for something really clutter-breaking

Vaani Kapoor's Mandala Murders on OTT will be her much-anticipated first foray into the digital arena. Gopi Puthran, known for his skilful storytelling, is in charge of directing the thrilling criminal thriller series for the esteemed Yash Raj Films.

Vaani, in a recent statement, expressed her delight at the prospect of making her OTT debut and collaborating with the incomparable Puthran. When asked what she was looking for with her OTT debut, she said she was looking for something clutter-breaking. Having the opportunity to collaborate with someone as brilliant as Gopi on the criminal thriller series Mandala Murders has motivated her to give her all to a form of writing she had never tried before.

Vaani had to draw on her vast acting expertise to convincingly depict her character in the show. She dove headfirst into the challenge at hand, drawing upon her extensive skill set to realise the creators' vision. She continues that because she respects the art of filmmaking and the purity that one needs to have towards acting, she has always been an actor who has never taken any shortcuts when it comes to her craft. The role of Mandala in Mandala Murders has challenged her as an actor, and she hopes the result will be well received.

To fulfil the expectations the creators had for Vaani's character and the project, she had to draw on all of her previous experiences. As of this writing, she is knee-deep in the production of Mandala Murders and eagerly anticipates the audience's undivided attention.
