The much-awaited third single, Uyir Urugudhey, from Chiyaan Vikram's, Cobra, is finally out. The song is a melody sung by AR Rahman, who has also scored the music for the film. Lyrics are by Thamarai. Though the song was supposed to release by 6pm, today, there was a delay and the song was finally out at 8.01pm.The makers stated that wait would be worth it.

Taking to his social media page, the film's director Ajay Gnanamuthu, wrote that it was the time to melt. Chiyaan Vikram plays a brilliant mathematician in the action thriller, which also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Miya George, Padmapriya Janakiraman, Kaniha, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Mrinalini Ravi, Meenakshi Govindarajan, KS Ravikumar, Babu Antony, Poovaiyar and Mohammad Ali Baig. Former cricketer Irfan Pathan will take the plunge into acting with Cobra and is said to be playing a Turkish Interpol officer named Aslan Riyaz. Ajay Gnanamuthu, shared a picture from the last day of Pathan's shoot and wrote, "gharing pictures of Irfan Pathan from the shooting spot, director Ajay Gnanamuthu posted, "Last day of shoot for @irfanpathan_official sir.. ❤️❤️ Glad to have met and worked with such a lovely and a warm person like you sir.. The film also marks the Tamil debut of veteran Malayalam actor Mamukoya and Kannada actress Srinidhi Shetty. Cinematography for the film is by Harish Kannan, editing is by Bhuvan Srinivasan. Cobra is bankrolled by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studios, in association with Viacom18. The film will hit screens on August 11.
