ETimes has reported that Kshitij is in the process of finalising the deal to be one of the contestants in the new season (Season 13) of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, which is hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty.
It is interesting to note that Kshitij was to be one of the housemates on Bigg Boss Season 16, which was hosted by Salman Khan. But things didn't work out for some reason.
Kshitij is popular on social media, and since his mother, Urvashi, has been a popular face on television, viewers are keen to see him on the small screen. This is why the makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi are keen for him to be a part of the show.
Urvashi raised Kshitij and his twin brother Sagar as a single parent. She had them when she was only 17 years old and shares a close bond with her sons.
Kshitij, who was an assistant director on the 2019 film Dream Girl, was in the news in December 2022 when he reacted to people who trolled his mother for posting pictures in a bikini, poking fun at her belly fat and stretch marks.
Defending his mother, Kshitij said that he and his brother have learned to be independent from their mother and that they are fine with her living life on her own terms.
