The actress further recalled how Rangeela made her a huge star and Satya made her unlearn that. Urmila said she was the only known face in the 1998 film while the rest were 'talented newcomers'. The actress revealed that RGV believes that she can pull off the film.

Talking about her character, Urmila said Vidya had no identity of her own. According to her, her character was 'relevant' only because she was Satya's neighbor. "To step back into a girl-next-door avatar was a huge challenge. I remember using my mother’s old saris which she was on the verge of giving up and draping them because I felt it was perfect for the role," she recalled.

Meanwhile, Satya is available for streaming on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium.
