The actor's second film with director Krrish had completed its shoot in 2020 and is awaiting release,
Actor Vaisshnav Tej Panja, who shot to fame with his blockbuster debut Uppena, has commenced shooting for his third movie, helmed by one-film old filmmaker Gireeshaaya in Hyderabad today. Gireeshaaya had previously directed the Tamil remake of the blockbuster film Arjun Reddy, titled Adithya Varma starring Dhruv Vikram and Banita Sandhu. His film with Vaisshnav Tej will be bankrolled by noted producer BVSN Prasad under his banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP. Ketika Sharma plays the female lead in the film.
The family entertainer is presented by Bapineedu while Devi Sri Prasad and Shamdat are on board as the composer and cinematographer respectively. Avinash Kolla has been roped in as the art director for the untitled film. In a statement to the media, the producer BVSN Prasad expressed optimism that the film will expand Vaisshnav Tej's horizons as an actor and take him closer to family audiences. Stating that Vaisshnav is extremely popular among the gen-Z, Prasad's confident that the young actor's success streak will continue with this movie.
BVSN Prasad had produced two films recently, Solo Brathuke So Better and Ninnila Ninnila. While Sai Dharam Tej, Nabha Natesh-starrer Solo Brathuke So Better streamed on OTT platforms within a week of its release, Ninnila Ninila featuring Ashok Selvan, Ritu Varma and Nithya Menen released directly on ZEE5. Vaisshnav Tej is currently awaiting the theatrical release of his film with director Krrish, adapted from the award-winning novel Kondapolam, that also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Chand in pivotal roles. Ketika Sharma has worked in two Telugu films, Lakshya and Romantic which may release within 2021.
