The upcoming Siddharth Anand directorial will also feature Deepika Padukone.
Even as Hrithik Roshan is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated film Vikram Vedha, the star is making sure to keep himself on his toes. It was reported that the actor has already kickstarted an intense 12 week long preparation to transform into his role for his next film Fighter.
According to a report in Mid Day, Roshan had started to ‘tone up’ to cultivate a more lean frame for Fighter. The actor had reportedly started his 12 week long physical transformation regimen so as to drop the weight he gained for his role in Vikram Vedha. Roshan is also expected to sport a crew cut for Fighter as well.
The film is expected to go on floors on November 15, starting with some high octane action sequences featuring the two main leads, Roshan and Deepika Padukone. The report also states that the film will feature one of the first ever aerial action sequences in Indian film history.
The upcoming film is directed by Siddharth Anand, who co-wrote the script with Ramon Chibb. Chibb had acquired the rights to the life story of Col Narendra Kumar for the film. The latter is an Indian soldier who played a prominent role in the 1984 mission Operation Meghdoot.
Meanwhile Roshan will next be seen in Vikram Vedha, which is scheduled to hit theaters on September 30. The film, which is the Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil film of the same name, also stars Saif Ali Khan and Tabu in pivotal roles. Directorial duo Pushkar-Gayatri, who had helmed the original film featuring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi, have also directed the Hindi remake as well.
Besides Fighter and Vikram Vedha, Roshan will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming directorial based on the Ramayana. The actor also has Krrish 4 in the pipeline.
