The first episode of the Nandamuri Balakrishna-hosted show featured his family members and politicians Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh
It feels like 2021 dejavu for Nandamuri Balakrishna this year too. Yet again, the star's talk show Unstoppable with NBK is hogging the limelight for the right reasons and another film of the star is awaiting release in the next few months (it was Akhanda in 2021). The second season of the actor-politician's show on Telugu OTT platform aha commenced with a bang the previous weekend (October 14). The premiere episode featured former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and his son, politician Nara Lokesh.
The first episode created unprecedented records on aha. Not only did it bring them maximum subscription among any other show they've backed, it was the highest viewed episode among all titles on the platform. Earlier today, confirming the official figures, aha revealed that the episode had clocked 10 crore viewing minutes in four days. The conversation created ripples among the political fraternity.
The fact that the chat bridged several topics - cinema, politics, family - under one roof made for entertaining viewing. The episode discussed many events in the political career and the personal life of Chandrababu and Lokesh and they were at ease spilling the beans about it. It helped viewers also understand the humane side to the duo beyond their public life. Balakrishna and the guests also paid a fond homage to their family patriarch, the legendary NTR.
The second episode of Unstoppable with NBK Season 2 will have two young guests - Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen. Meanwile, the title of Balakrishna's upcoming film NBK107 will unveiled at an event in Kurnool this Friday. After NBK107, the veteran will move onto a project with F3, Supreme filmmaker Anil Ravipudi.
