The movie is scheduled to debut on Manorama Max the following week, while Fahadh Faasil's Aavesham, another Vishu release, has already been available for streaming since May 9. The makers of Varshangalkku Shesham have not yet confirmed the film's OTT release. As part of the Vishu season, all three of these films were released on the same day, April 11.
The film revolves around the life of gifted graphic artist Ganesh (Unni Mukundan), who suffers an accident that leaves him paralysed below the waist. His life changes when Ayan, the son of MLA Prakash Puthran and who has a strong friendship with Ganesh, is abducted by a mysterious individual. The main plot point of the story is how Ganesh uses his abilities to solve the mystery surrounding Ayan's kidnapping.

Despite failing to surpass box office records, unlike the other two Vishu releases, Varshangalkku Shesham and Aaavesham, the movie continued to receive positive reviews from viewers and drew an acceptable number of people to theatres. It was hailed as an engaging thriller that will have you gripped for the majority of the story. It was entertaining to watch as well because of Unni Mukundan's outstanding performance and proficient storytelling style. The film is engaging and quick, clocking in at a mere two hours and five minutes.
Ranjith Sankar has directed and written the screenplay for the mystery thriller. Ashokan, Jomol, and Mahima Nambiar are a few of the film's supporting actors.
