Unni Mukundan and Vysakh are all set to team up for a ‘mass’ entertainer that will be the biggest film in the actor’s career. The movie, which is scripted by Pulimurugan and Madhuraraja’s Udaykrishna, was announced last year, but now we hear that the makers have finalised a date on which it will go on floors.

A source close to the production team led by Unni Mukundan revealed that the film will be a “pan-Indian entertainer” that will begin shooting in March 2022. Vysakh is currently busy shooting Mohanlal’s investigative thriller titled Monster, which is also scripted by Udaykrishna.

Unni, we hear, will be training in martial arts for the upcoming movie titled Bruce Lee, which will have action, romance, emotions and elements of a ‘mass’ entertainer. Shaji Kumar has been roped in as the cinematographer of the movie, which will be the third production for Unni Mukundan Films after Meppadiyan and Shafeekinte Santosham.

Unni, meanwhile, has a host of movies lined up including Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Bro Daddy, Jeethu Joseph’s 12th Man and Vishnu Mohan’s Meppadiyan. He is also part of Jayaraj’s film that is based on Madhavikutty’s literary work. The actor also has a Telugu movie titled Khiladi gearing up for release. He is also set to play the lead in Khiladi director Ramesh Varma’s upcoming pan-Indian film.

Bruce Lee will mark the second collaboration between Unni and Vysakh after Mallu Singh, which gave the actor his first big break. The film will reportedly be made on a budget of Rs 25 crore and will be a theatrical release, according to sources.
