Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, who is also an actor and filmmaker, has weighed in on the ongoing controversy around the recent AR Rahman concert in Chennai . While talking to the media earlier, he promised the government would probe the matter and hold those responsible accountable for the mishap.

However, Udhayanidhi was also considerate towards Rahman, who has been under fire since the concert fiasco. "A few people keep looking for reasons to criticize Rahman. We should look at the actual reasons behind the incident and prevent them in future," said Udhayanidhi.

Udhayanidhi revealed that he was told that the "last-minute rush" was the main reason behind the incident. However, he assured the media that the government would conduct a comprehensive investigation into the matter.

Udhayanidhi, a fan of AR Rahman

It's noteworthy that Rahman composed the music for Maamannan, starring Udhayanidhi. Written and directed by Mari Selvaraj, Maamannan is touted to be the last movie in Udhayanidhi's acting career. Earlier, he announced retirement from all aspects of show business, including acting, production and distribution, after he was promoted to a cabinet position in the Tamil Nadu government.

Rahman's music was one of the strong points of Maamannan. All the songs from the album were big hits.
