Turbo star Raj B Shetty said that after a long period, the Malayalam film industry is finally receiving the honour and recognition it deserves.
Kannada actor Raj B Shetty expressed his excitement at making his Malayalam debut at the "perfect time" in an interview with OTTplay. He said that after a long period, the Malayalam film industry is finally receiving the honour and recognition it deserves. "Malayalam is a significant industry in our country, and I think it should not be disregarded as a small one. It is an impressive feat to have made Rs 1000 crore at the box office in the last six months, he said.
Raj went on to say that all of this is made possible by carefully choosing the script, treating it with care, and respecting both the art and the audience. In this industry right now, he added, "collaboration is also strong, bringing together a good team consisting of visionary filmmakers, technicians, and actors." The actor continued by expressing his firm belief that this is the reason this is the ideal moment for someone to enter this field.
Raj is making his Malayalam debut with Mammootty-starrer Turbo, which is all set to hit the big screen on May 23.

"Malayalam has Jeethu Joseph, Shyju Khalid, Anwar Rasheed, Sushin Shyam, and Fahadh Faasil in addition to them. The magic of film comes alive when they are all brought together, Raj continued. He asserted that the industry's strength lies in its ability to maintain quality across all levels and departments.
The Toby star used the success of Manjummel Boys as an example, pointing out that in addition to having talented young actors, Chidambaram's style of filmmaking, Sushin Shyam's music, and Ajayan Chalissery's art direction gave the movie life. "Many individuals outside of Kerala that I know are unaware that the majority of the film was shot on a set. That demonstrates the extent to which they are dedicated to their product," he remarked.
