Turbo box office prediction Day 1 – Mammootty and Vysakh’s ambitious action-comedy film is set to have a massive release on May 23, 2024. Will Turbo set a new record with its opening collection?
Turbo, the action-comedy film that features Mammootty in the lead role, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on May 24, 2024. The film, which marks the megastar’s reunion with hitmaker Vysakh, has created quite a stir on social media with its impressive official trailer. Turbo is set to have a record release in Karnataka and overseas centers, with the highest number of screens for a Malayalam film yet.
As per the recent updates, Turbo is set to have a massive release on May 23, Thursday, with over 700 screens globally. Mammootty and Vysakh’s ambitious film has set a record, by emerging as the biggest Malayalam release ever at the overseas centers. Interestingly, the action-comedy film has also set a new milestone in Karnataka, by receiving the highest number of screens for a Malayalam film in the state, yet. All these reports and the increasing pre-release hype suggest that Turbo is set to have a double-digit opening at the worldwide box office on its Day 1 at the theatres.

If the Mammootty-starrer succeeds in impressing the audience, the film is confirmed to have 100 to 150 extra shows across Kerala, right from the evening of its release. In that case, Turbo might set a record with its opening collection at the worldwide box office. The recent updates from the trade experts suggest that the Vysakh directorial has the potential to easily cross the Rs. 12-crore mark with its Day 1 box office collection worldwide.

Trade experts also suggest that Turbo has the potential to emerge as the sixth blockbuster of 2024, after Premalu, Manjummel Boys, Aadujeevitham, Aavesham and the currently running Guruvayoorambala Nadayil. As reported earlier, the movie made with a whopping budget of Rs. 60 crore, is the most expensive project in the career of its leading man Mammootty, who has also produced the film under his home banner Mammootty Kampany. Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films handles the Kerala distribution of the Vysakh directorial.
