Turbo box office collection Day 3 – The mass action-comedy film which stars Mammootty as the titular character Turbo Jose, has already earned superhit status at the box office. The project, which is directed by hitmaker Vysakh, has made a massive opening at the worldwide box office, despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics hitmaker Vysakh directs Reportedly, Turbo has made a total box office collection of around Rs. 40 crore in just 3 days and surpassed the lifetime collection of Mohanlal’s Neru at the GCC box office.
As per the recent updates from the trade experts, Turbo has made a total worldwide collection of approximately Rs. 40 crore just within the first 3 days of its release. The Mammootty starrer has collected around Rs. 14.15 from the Kerala box office alone, so far. Interestingly, the Vysakh directorial has already surpassed the lifetime box office collection of Neru, the Mohanlal starrer directed by Jeethu Joseph which was released in December 2023, just in 3 days. If things proceed at the same rate, Turbo will soon surpass the total overseas collection of Neru, within a few days.

According to the trade analysts, Turbo is now all set to enter the prestigious Rs. 50 crore club of the Malayalam film industry, by the end of its first Sunday (May 26, 2024). The Mammootty starrer has been in an extraordinary rush at the releasing centers across the globe, especially in Kerala and the overseas centers, during the weekend. In that case, the Vysakh directorial will also emerge as one of the fastest entries into the Rs. 50 crore club from Malayalam cinema, so far.

If things proceed at the same rate, Mammootty’s mass action-comedy film will soon emerge as the fifth Malayalam film of 2024, to enter the glorious Rs. 100 crore club of Malayalam cinema. In that case, the movie will also emerge as the megastar’s first-ever film to cross the prestigious mark. The excellent word-of-mouth publicity, 240 plus extra shows in Kerala, and the increasing audience rush suggest that Turbo is not going to slow down anytime soon.
