Tumbbad re-release Box Office collection day 8: Tumbbad maintained a good Box Office number even on its eighth day of re-release. The film, starring Sohum Shah in the lead role, has now earned over Rs. 15 crores by the second Friday. The film was among the many reaping the benefits of National Cinema Day, where the tickets were priced at Rs. 99 per person. With that, the movie has already crossed the budget cost of Rs. 15 crore. The movie is now a hit at the Box Office, and given how it is the weekend, it is likely to end up as a superhit, especially among the re-releases. Here’s the Box Office collection of Tumbbad so far…

Tumbbad Box Office collection day 8

On day 8 of its release, Sohum Shah’s Tumbbad minted Rs. 2.65 crore at the Box Office, according to Sacnilk. The movie was among the many films getting the advantage of National Cinema Day (with ticket prices being for Rs. 99 per person). Unfortunately, though, Tumbbad did not work as well at the Box Office as either Stree 2 or Yudhra, but again, the budget for those movies was much higher than Tumbbad and so, Sohum Shah’s film has also performed well in comparison.

Tumbbad recovers its budget cost and is now a hit, on its way to be a superhit

Tumbbad had minted Rs. 13.15 crore in the first week and thus, it has now earned Rs. 15.75 crore in eight days already. With that, the film has recovered its status at the Box Office. While being a flop during its original release in 2018, Tumbbad has now recovered the budget costs of Rs. 15 crore and is a definite hit. The movie is well on its way to becoming a superhit, now that it has the weekend advantage too.

Tumbbad looking at double of its original Box Office collections in lifetime run

Sohum Shah’s film had earned nearly Rs. 13 crores in its original run at the Box Office. The movie is looking at minting at least Rs. 26 crore at the Box Office during its re-release. Given the current scenario though, it looks like Tumbbad will stay at the Box Office for a bit longer. It does not face much competition this week either, unless Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Yudhra ends up like Munjya and starts earning well over the weekend. Guess we’ll have to wait and watch.
