Tumbbad re-release breaks opening day Box Office for itself and this week

Tumbbad re-release is the one breaking records this week. The film has earned three times more than its original release in 2018. Minting Rs. 1.50 crores, the film has even beaten Kareena Kapoor Khan's latest offering, The Buckingham Murders. The movie earned Rs. 1.15 crores on its opening day. Tumbbad, made on a budget of Rs. 15 crores was originally declared a flop. With its re-release, though, the film has almost already recovered its cost in one day. This week, Tumbbad might emerge the hero, even though it could face slight competition from The Buckingham Murders, which is getting good word-of-mouth now. Tumbbad will also be competing with Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao’s horror-comedy Stree 2 at the Box Office.
