Prabhas is all set to work with Arjun Reddy and Animal filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga on a film titled Spirit. The film is a cop drama.

Prabhas is in form with back-to-back hits. He is riding high on the success of his new film, Kalki 2898 AD, which is a massive blockbuster and is still playing in theatres. His other film, The Raja Saab, is set to hit the screens on April 10, 2025, and Prabhas will join the sets of his film very soon.

Trisha to romance Prabhas in Spirit?

The star hero has also signed on to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's new film Spirit, which is likely to go on floors by the end of 2024. For the last day or so, news has been going around that Trisha Krishnan, the popular Tamil heroine, has been confirmed in to play the female lead in this film.

Ever since this news broke, fans of Trisha and Prabhas have been super thrilled that the duo will team up yet again after a very long gap. But we at OTTplay have learnt that this news is fake and has no truth in it. One of the sources close to the star has revealed to us that the casting is yet to begin, as Sandeep is almost done with the writing.

Latest update on Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit

Once he wraps up the script, Sandeep will approach a few big stars who will feature in this film. Trisha is enjoying a good phase with the success of her latest web series, Brinda. She played a cop in the film, and taking this as a cue, news has come out that she will also be seen as a cop in the Prabhas starrer.

Spirit will showcase Prabhas as a very sincere cop in the film, and this itself has made fans excited as Prabhas has not played such a sophisticated role to date in his career. T-Series and Sandeep Vanga himself will co-produce this film which will be made on a massive budget.

Prabhas is also super excited about this project, as he has never played such a role in his career. The combo of Trisha and Prabhas will be lovely to see on screen, but that is not going to happen anytime soon.
