The upcoming Telugu web series is helmed by Surya Vangala, which is also touted to be dubbed in other languages
Trisha Krishnan is all set to finally make her mark on digital screen with a Sony Liv web series titled ‘Brinda’. The Abhiyum Naanum star earlier took to social media and shared a welcoming note from the team of the web series.
Helmed by Surya Vangala, the upcoming Sony Liv web series was launched earlier with a special puja ceremony. The Telugu series is also expected to come out in other dubbed languages during the time of its release. Trisha shared an Instagram story about a bouquet of roses which was a gift to her from her crew. They welcomed her to the sets of Brinda with the special surprise. The Vinaithaandi Varuvaaya star is currently busy filming the Telugu web series and the Kannada entertainer Dvitva alongside Puneet Rajkumar.
Talking about Dvitva, the upcoming Puneet Rajkumar outing is helmed by U Turn famed Pawan. Backed by Hombale Films, it is touted to be a psychological thriller for which filming took off the previous month. The first look featuring the Yuvarathnaa star saw him in an intense avatar, where his face looked like a block puzzle picture. The image spoke volumes about the project.
On the other hand, Trisha will also be portraying a crucial role in the upcoming and much awaited magnum opus of Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan. Featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead role, the movie is an ensemble with many renowned actors on board.
Touted to be a two-part period drama, the first one was wrapped up some time back. The post production of the film is taking place at a steady pace. Dubbing for the epic movie has also commenced. Trisha too has begun working on the project. This time, we will get to see her on screen, portraying the role of the Chola Princess- Kundavai delivering dialogues in her own voice.
