Triptii Dimri has been flooded with movie offers after the blockbuster success of Ranbir Kapoor-led Animal. In 2024, the actress had done several film releases, including the box office hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. A few days ago, it was confirmed that Triptii is a part of filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming film. She will share screen space with Shahid Kapoor in the film, which goes on floors in January 2025. In an interview, Triptii shared her excitement about doing the Vishal Bhardwaj film with Shahid.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Triptii Dimri said working with Vishal Bhardwaj was on her bucket list. The actress said, "I am fortunate I’ve always had directors who want to know what I am thinking, how I want to approach a character. Vishal sir is clear that he has written the story, but he wants to hear how I will bring it to life. I am a director’s actor."
Talking about her co-star Shahid Kapoor, Triptii mentioned that she admires his work. "I’ve been a big admirer of his work. He has such a great command over his material. I’m so grateful for the film, this year and for all the good that has come!," added Dimri.
On December 18, Shahid made an official announcement about the film with Triptii. The actor took to his X account and revealed that the film will go on floors on January 6, 2025. He also shared an update about the untitled film's release date.
"Every story has its time, and this one begins now. Shooting starts on 6th January 2025, and we'll see you in theatres on 5th December 2025! (sic)," Shahid's tweet read.
Triptii Dimri's films in 2024
On the work front, Triptii Dimri had three theatrical releases in 2024. The actress was seen in Bad Newz with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. She was also a part of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao. Dimri was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit.
