Amazon Prime Video had surprised one and all with their recent announcement of the show LOL - Enga Siri Pappom featuring the late Vivekh and Shiva as its hosts. Directed by Madhumita, this Tamil version of the franchise which had its other versions released in a few countries earlier, will have ten Tamil comedians put in a room for six hours. All of them are required to make others in the house laugh and ensure that they don't laugh themselves. The one who manages not to laugh till the end will be adjudged as the winner, and will win a prize of Rs 25 lakh.

The trailer of the show, which was released on Tuesday, has Vivekh and Shiva entering the house, explaining the rules to its ten contestants, namely Sathish, Abishek Kumar, Premji, Pugazh, Syama Harini, Powerstar Srinivasan, Maya S Krishnan, Harathi, RJ Vignesh and Baggy. The house has 24 cameras to monitor their performances. The trailer provides a sneak peek into a few hilarious episodes. One of them has Srinivasan asking Vivekh if the prize money he displays to the participants is original. The former dressed as a woman, Aarthi uttering Premgi's popular one-liner evalo vo pannitom, idha pannamattoma and funny banter between Sathish and Pugazh, are a few other episodes which are expected to attract the viewers.

Sporting a stylish salt-and-pepper look, Vivekh saying the dialogue Inga indha 10 comedians-um sirikka vekkalam, aana sirikka koodathu (Here, the ten comedians can make others laugh, but shouldn't laugh themselves) in his usual style entertains the viewers. Many of his fans took to social media to express how keen they are to watch the show and how much they miss the legendary comedian.

LOL - Enga Siri Pappom will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from August 27.
