Trailer of Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa the Rise to be released on this date

The upcoming Sukumar directorial will also star Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, marking the latter’s Telugu debut.

After a period of speculation, the makers of Pushpa the Rise have finally revealed when the highly anticipated film’s trailer will be released. The trailer of the upcoming Allu Arjun led film will be unveiled on December 6.

The makers took to Twitter to make the announcement, which also included a brand new poster featuring Arjun. In it the star is seen donning the look of the titular character which viewers can recognise from the trademark red ‘tika’ on his forehead, to the bushy beard, to the adornments on his hands and wrists.

The premise of Pushpa the Rise is based on the smuggling of the red sanders trees in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh. Arjun will play the role of the titular protagonist, a truck driver who is engaged in the smuggling business. The upcoming film is to be the first of two parts.

In addition to Arjun, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles. The film marks Faasil’s Telugu debut. Samantha Ruth Prabhu will also make an appearance in the film in a special dance number.

The film is directed by Sukumar, and it marks the director’s third collaboration with Arjun after Arya and Arya 2. The upcoming action thriller film is produced under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media.

Pushpa: The Rise is slated to be released on December 17, 2021. The film will also be released in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.
