For film enthusiasts, February will be an exciting month as several Malayalam movies will be released on the big screen. In the meantime, there have been rumours and speculations regarding a few other eagerly awaited Malayalam films, including Manjummel Boys and Malayali from India, which will be released next month. The makers have not, however, provided any official confirmation.

The first week of February will see the release of films like LLB: Life Line of Bachelors and Mukesh and Urvashi's Iyer in Arabia. Here is a list of Malayalam theatrical releases this month.

Anweshippin Kandethum (February 9)

Anweshippin Kandethum is directed by Darwin Kuriakose. The eagerly awaited movie, which stars Tovino Thomas in the lead role, is a thriller that centres on an investigation into the murder of a young lady. Despite all the obstacles, the investigative team is determined to unravel the truth and nab the culprit.

Bramayugam (February 15)

For this highly anticipated 2024 film, Mammootty is working with director Rahul Sadasivan, who gained notoriety with his 2022 release of Bhoothakaalam. Bramayugam has captured the interest of viewers with its impressive posters that exude a strong sense of spookiness.

Thalavan (February 23)

Jis Joy is the director of this investigative thriller, which stars Asif Ali and Biju Menon in the key parts. The main characters in this film are two police officers with disparate ranks who are involved in an ego conflict. With Jis Joy getting a theatrical release after a brief hiatus, the film is highly anticipated by viewers.

Thundu (February 16)

This comedy entertainer marks the directorial debut of Riyas Shereef. The trailer, released on January 25, hints at an entertaining and intriguing police drama starring Biju Menon as a police officer afraid of exams.

Premalu

The main characters in this Hyderabad-set movie are Naslen and Mamitha Baiju. The supporting cast includes Mohan, Sangeeth Prathap, Akhila Bhargavan, Meenakshi Raveendran, and Althaf Salim. The poster suggests an exciting contemporary romantic comedy.
