Tovino Thomas and Pia Bajpai starrer Abhiyude Katha Anuvinteyum drops on Neestream

The Malayalam version of the 2018 bilingual film Abhiyum Anuvum is currently streaming on Neestream. The dubbed version is titled Abhiyude Katha Anuvinteyum.

Abhiyude Katha Anuvinteyum is a romantic drama film featuring Tovino Thomas and Pia Bajpai. The movie is directed by BR Vijayalakshmi who is also the first woman cinematographer in Asia. She has also cinematographed around 50 films in both English and Malayalam languages. The film is written by Uday Mahesh and produced by Vikram Mehra and BR Vijayalakshmi under the banner Yoodlee Films. Renowned cinematographer-filmmaker Santhosh Sivan is the executive producer of the film.

Abhiyude Katha Anuvinteyum also marked the debut of Tovino Thomas in Tamil movies.

Talking about the plot of the film, it’s about Abhi (Tovino) and Anu (Pia) falling in love over Facebook chats and getting married soon after they meet. Abhi is a regular, old fashioned guy with a regular job who is still dependent on his mother heavily whereas Anu is an organic farmer who hails from Ooty. She is a very bold woman and is unafraid to challenge social issues. Their life takes a topsy-turvy turn when they come across shocking revelations about themselves and they go through a difficult time trying to sort it out.

Other main roles are played by Prabhu, Rohini and Suhasini Manirathnam. BK Harinarayanam penned the lyrics and the music is by Dharan Respectively. Akilan has done the cinematography of the film.
