We had earlier reported that SunNXT is launching a new show, Top Cooku Dupe Cooku, a cooking reality show featuring a host of comedians and celebrities. Actor and comedian Vadivelu was a chief guest on the most recent episode of the show, adding to the humour. All episodes of Top Cooku Dupe Cooku are now available for streaming on SunNXT and OTTplay Premium.
In the latest episode of Top Cooku Dupe Cooku, veteran comedian and actor Vadivelu was the chief guest. Vadivelu, who has made our bellies ache from the laughter riot he has been creating, was recently seen in Maamannan, in which he played a moving politician caught between caste oppression and power dynamics.

In the new episode, contestants can be seen competing against each other in a task that includes them building burger towers with patties, vegetables and cheese slices. As the contestants race against time to build the tallest burger, in one instance, we see chef and judge Venkatesh Bhat showing his chopping prowess. In another instance, the comedians try to distract the stressful audience. Vadivelu is also seen giving comic punches and adapting his previous dialogues to divert the contestants' attention.
Top Cooku Dupe Cooku Season 1 features nine celebrity contestants. They are actors Aishwarya Dutta, Chaitra Reddy, Narendra Prasath, Sai Dheena, Shali Nivekas, Singampuli, Sonia Agarwal, Sujatha Sivakumar and stunt coordinator FEFSI Vijayan. Monisha Blessy, Deepa Shankar, Dheena, GP Muthu, Adhirchi Arun, Bharath K Rajesh, Vijay, Mukund, Kathir and Soundarya are the comedians who will be paired up with the cooks.

The series is judged by Chef Venkatesh Bhat along with Binny Krishnakumar. It first premiered on May 19 and streams two episodes per week during the weekend. With the upcoming episodes getting harder and more obstacles faced by the contestants, there is going to be no less of comedy and abundance of challenges in the kitchens of the contestants.
