Top Cooku Dupe Cooku Season 1 features nine celebrity contestants. They are actors Aishwarya Dutta, Chaitra Reddy, Narendra Prasath, Sai Dheena, Shali Nivekas, Singampuli, Sonia Agarwal, Sujatha Sivakumar and stunt coordinator FEFSI Vijayan. Monisha Blessy, Deepa Shankar, Dheena, GP Muthu, Adhirchi Arun, Bharath K Rajesh, Vijay, Mukund, Kathir and Soundarya are the comedians who will be paired up with the cooks. The first episode of Top Cooku Dupe Cooku is out on SunNXT and OTTplay Premium.

It is to be noted that Top Cooku Dupe Cooku has an uncanny resemblance with Cooku With Comali reality cooking show, which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar and Vijay TV. The show also pairs up celebrity cooks with comedians in the cooking competition. It is also worth a mention that Venkatesh Bhat had appeared as judge in the previous seasons of the show, along with Chef Dhamu. Currently, with Venkatesh Bhat out, Madhampatty Rangaraj has been roped in to judge along with Dhamu.
