Three years after HIT: The First Case, Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra have reunited for a film called, Toaster. While the 2022 film was a theatrical release, their upcoming movie will premiere on the streaming platform Netflix. The teaser of Toaster, featuring Rajkummar and Sanya, was released at a grand event in Mumbai. The makers also dropped it on YouTube and the film promises to be the perfect blend of humor and unexpected twists.

Netflix dropped the official teaser of Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra's film, Toaster, on YouTube. While sharing the same, the streamer wrote, "Rajkummar Rao ka one-time offer ek toaster ke saath, unlimited drama bilkul muft muft muft! Chaos follows Sanya Malhotra and Rajkummar Rao in Toaster, coming soon, only on Netflix (sic)."

For the uninitiated, Toaster has been produced by Rajkummar and his wife Patralekhaa. The star cast of this OTT film also includes Seema Pahwa, Archana Puran Singh, Jitendra Joshi, Upendra Limaye, and Abhishek Banerjee.

In an official statement, the producers of Toaster mentioned that venturing into the production with the Netflix film was an exhilarating experience. They revealed that the movie is a quirky and layered story that 'masterfully' blends humor, chaos, and unexpected twists.

At the Next on Netflix event in Mumbai, Rajkummar Rao shared his experience working on Toaster. "We love what we have in our hands and thankfully everyone read the script. There was a belief somewhere that if it's coming from the heart, then it will be fine. I think Sanya called immediately and said that it's good, let's do it, it'll be fun. Because we've worked together, we know that working together (again) will be a lot of fun," he said.
