Glimpses of Tnusree's Rajasthan trip

Tnusree Chakraborty recently went to Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan with her friend Srabanti Chakraborty. Amid the unrest in the city regarding the RG Kar incident, the actress went there for mental peace. She shared her experience.

Tnusree returned to the city on Wednesday. She and Srabanti went to Jaipur to attend an event. She said that she had a prior plan to visit Ajmer Sharif. Her mother was also with them. The two actresses also visited Pushkar and offered Puja. Tnusree told Anandabazar Online on Thursday, “I visited Ajmer Sharif earlier also. But this time I went with Srabanti and my mother. Hence the tour was memorable.”

Tnusree is sad about the RG Kar incident and hence has visited Ajmer Sharif. She said, 'Truly speaking, I prayed that the girl would get justice. She is a girl from my city. I feel sad whenever I think about what was done to her.”

What is her opinion about the stars' returning to work amid such a situation? Tnusree said 'An actor's task is to entertain. Hence perhaps we have to work. That does not mean protests will reduce in number.' Stars are regularly trolled against the backdrop of the protests. Tnusree thinks that reality should not be forgotten. 'We too have families and hence we have to work out of professional commitment. At the same time, the stars are protesting whenever they get time.'

Tnusree said that several programs before Puja have been cancelled this year and work offers are also less. But she has no problem with it. She said 'Stars sign contacts a few months before Puja. Hence, they are compelled to do those even if they don't wish to. They have to post on social media. They are bound to.'

What are her Puja plans this year? Tnusree said 'From what I see, I have no wish to plan anything. I only wish that the criminals get punished. But she made it clear that she did not oppose Durga Puja. 'Those who want will celebrate it. It comes only once a year. We need to think about it since this is also an important aspect.'
