While many names associated with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah from the very beginning are gone there's one actor, who is also the face of the show, that remains. Of course, we're talking about Dilip Joshi, who plays the lead role of Jethalal in the TV show. Being a veteran actor, all his co-stars tend to follow him. Now, another co-star has revealed that Joshi almost imposes loud acting to get the comedy across. Here's what he said...

Nitish Bhulani aka Tapu spills the beans

Nitish Bhulani, who is the latest to play Jethalal's son in TMKOC, has spilled the beans. He mentioned how Dilip Joshi has one piece of advice that everyone 'must follow.' While talking to Pinkvilla, Nitish revealed that Dilip emphasizes on loud acting to get the comedy across. The actor felt that the show had very loud acting for comedy and was nervous about how he would pull it off. That is when Dilip told him, "Son, whether you want it or not, you have to do it. So, it's better you do it with conviction. 'Tu isko hi saach maan le, aur isko hi saach maan ke kar," Dilip Joshi told Nitish at the beginning, which the on-screen Tapu claims helped him build his character to conviction.

Tapu sena is fun at all times

In his same interview, the actor spilled that it is always fun being with Tapu sena on sets. It is to the extent that somebody on set has to tell them, "Mast roko, kaam karna hai." Among the lot, Samay and Azhar, who play Gogi and Pinku respectively, have been associated with the project since the start.

What's happening on TMKOC currently?

We are now seeing episodes where Gokuldham society gathered together to ring in the New Year. It ended up being a fun segment since Bapuji landed mid-air, just as Popatlal had predicted for him in the year. Bapuji was supposed to let go of balloons to ring in 2025, but he ended up floating mid-air with them, thus causing a chaotic and funny moment.
