Tollywood actor Mimi Chakraborty is all praises for Mainak Bhaumik, the writer of her next project Mini. Mainak’s Mini depicts the bittersweet relationship between an independent woman Titli who needs to take care of her niece Mini after her mother is hospitalized.

The trailer of the movie is already out and depicts a bitter-sweet relationship between the duo who have no age limit in friendship. Their chemistry is already winning people’s hearts and is a major hit among Mimi’s fan base.

According to The Times of India, praising Mainak’s thought process, Mimi said that she was touched when she read his script for the first time. The Bengali actress said that she was able to relate to Titli’s (the niece’s) character, right from the way she talks to the way she dresses.

Every little thing about the character reminds her of her own childhood. Mimi was certain that only a select number of people can carve such beautiful stories for women and she was thankful that Mainak wrote this story, keeping her in mind from the beginning.

Mimi further added that the character of Mini is a blessing for her as an actor and she is really looking forward to the movie’s release. Meanwhile, the movie’s maestro aka director Mainak Bhaumik said that the story essentially tries to portray the innocent friendship between a girl and her aunt. He sincerely hopes that people are able to grasp the light-hearted concept of the movie and enjoy it when it releases.

Directed by Mainak Mukherjee, the movie Titli stars Mimi Chakraborty in the lead role. Besides, the film also stars Mithu Chakraborty, Saptarshi Moulik, Kamalika Banerjee, Rudrajit and others and is set to hit the theatres on May 6, 2022. Needless to say, the trailer is already a massive hit among the viewers!
