Titans Season 4: Joseph Morgan of Vampire Diaries fame roped in to play a villain from the DC Multiverse

He will be joining the Titans cast that includes Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Curran Walters, Conor Leslie, Minka Kelly and Alan Ritchson, among others.

After playing the bad guy Klaus in Vampire Diaries and The Originals, Joseph Morgan would play a negative role again, in the DC superhero series. The Originals actor will be playing the role of Sebastian Blood, aka Brother Blood. He will be seen portraying a slightly different character than his earlier vampire show ventures. He will be playing an introverted and intelligent villain with a hidden, darker nature. The makers have also enlisted Franka Potente (Claws) and Lisa Ambalavanar (The A List) for recurring roles in the HBO Max series.

Potente will be playing the role of May Bennett/Mother Mayhem, a naturally born leader and a predator in human form who is known to spread violence in the world while Ambalavanar will reprise her role as Jinx. Jinx is known to be a quick-witted criminal loner who has mastered dark magic, using which she manipulates others and creates chaos. Jinx and Brother Blood were earlier featured in the animated Teen Titans series. Sebastian Blood has also made an appearance in the second season of Arrow on the CW.

Developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti, the drama from the DC comics is overseen by showrunner Greg Walker. Sarah Schechter and Richard Hatem are serving as executive producers.

However, the release date of the new season of the series is yet to be announced.
