Starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles, Tillu Square is slated to be out in theatres on THIS date
Tillu Square
Siddhu Jonnalagadda's upcoming Telugu film Tillu Square, directed by Mallik Ram, has been a long-awaited one. The sequel to DJ Tillu, Tillu Square, now has a new release date. According to the makers, the movie is slated to hit theatres on March 29. However, fans are unsure if this date will be the final one. This is because Tillu Square was initially slated to be released in theatres on September 15, 2023. It was then pushed to February 9, 2024. And now it has been pushed again.
According to reports, the Telugu Film Chamber requested the makers of one of five films that were scheduled to be released during Sankranti 2024 so that all the films have a fair chance at the box office. So, the makers of Tillu Square voluntarily pushed the release of the film in favour of a solo release date. The release of Ravi Teja's Eagle was also pushed for the "welfare of the Telugu film industry". They later unveiled February 9 as the new release date for their film.
Other sources also suggest that Naga Vamsi, the producer of Mahesh Babu-starrer Guntur Kaaram, who is also bankrolling Tillu Square under his Sithara Entertainments, agreed to postpone Tillu Square to March 29.
On the occasion of Pongal/Sankranthi, streaming giant Netflix announced that Siddhu Jonnalagadda's Tillu Square will be releasing on the streaming platform after its theatrical run. The streaming platform announced that the film will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.

Anupama Parameswaran plays the female lead in the film, for which Ram Miriyala and Sri Charan Pakala have scored music. National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli has edited the movie. Although the makers have been teasing fans with promos and songs, everyone is eager to see if the sequel will live up to the hype created or not.
