Tiger Shroff got known as an action hero since Baaghi released in theatres back in 2016
Ever since its inception, Tiger Shroff has been an integral part of the Baaghi franchise. The movies have also solidified his status as an action hero in the entertainment industry. Given the immense popularity and love received by all three films in the franchise, there are reports indicating that the makers are now planning a fourth installment of Baaghi.
According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is gearing up to bring Baaghi 4 to the big screen. It is said that Nadiadwala envisions this Tiger Shroff starrer to be the ‘biggest action film ever made.’ The report suggests that over the past year, Nadiadwala and his team of writers have been working on a plot to carry forward the Baaghi franchise.
While the subject will maintain the essence of the franchise, it will also incorporate a fresh spin to align with the post-pandemic sensibilities. The ultimate aim is to create a colossal action spectacle, with Tiger Shroff leading the way, as stated by a source quoted by the entertainment portal.
In addition to the aforementioned plans for Baaghi 4, there have been reports indicating that the makers are aiming to bring on board an A-List actor to portray the antagonist in the film. The source revealed, “We are living in the era of collaborations, and Sajid Nadiadwala is all set to pull off a casting coup in Baaghi 4.” However, it is important to note that there has been no official announcement made regarding Baaghi 4 at this time.
The Baaghi franchise began in 2016. The movie starred Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. In the 2018 sequel, Shraddha was replaced by Disha Patani. The film also featured Manoj Bajpayee and Randeep Hooda. The third installment, Baaghi 3 (featuring Tiger and Shraddha again), hit the screens in 2020. All three films enjoyed tremendous success at the box office.
Tiger Shroff will soon be seen in Ganapath, in which he shares the screen with Amitabh Bachchan and his debut (Heropanti) co-star Kriti Sanon. The movie is scheduled to release on October 20 this year. Additionally, Tiger has been shooting for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan opposite Akshay Kumar.
