Tiger Shroff back in action as Baaghi 4 rolls with high-intensity fight scene

Baaghi 4 has officially taken off, with Tiger Shroff and 100 supporting artists rehearsing for an action-packed sequence.

Tiger Shroff has returned to the world of Baaghi which he last appeared in more than four years ago in 2020. Shooting for the A Harsha-directed project began on Sunday (November 17, 2024) at the Golden Tobacco plant in Vile Parle. 

High-octane action sequence marks the start of filming

As per Mid Day, following the formula of the franchise, which is an action scene per minute, it should come as no surprise that filming kicked off with a massive setpiece. Reliable sources informed the tabloid that the initial action sequence employed approximately one hundred supporting artists.

In this high-octane action film, Tiger is performing astounding feats. A source revealed that the star and the supporting cast spent the entire day practicing the complex fight scene before filming it at night.

Leading lady yet to be cast

Filming has already begun, but the makers haven't cast the leading lady yet. According to the source, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is looking for a new team up with Tiger although there are other names being considered.

Nadiadwala is currently working on two projects in addition to Baaghi 4. AR Murugadoss's Sikandar starring Salman Khan, has concluded its Hyderabad schedule, and the cast and crew are now preparing for a lengthy shoot in Andheri. Starting on Tuesday, Salman will start filming at a hospital in Andheri. According to a source, the unit completed the Hyderabad leg ahead of schedule.

Early December will see the beginning of the shoot of Hussain Ustara starring Shahid Kapoor and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Success of the Baaghi franchise

Sajid Nadiadwala's Baaghi is one of the films produced by his company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. In the film series, Tiger Shroff plays the lead role. Ahmed Khan helmed the sequels Baaghi 2 (2018) and Baaghi 3 (2020), following Sabbir Khan's 2016 debut feature Baaghi. With a global revenue of more than ₹619.1 crores, Baaghi 2 has become the most financial ly successful installment in the series thus far.
