Many wondered whether the Tamil dubbed version of Tiger Nageswara Rao will find any screens in Tamil Nadu, given it's releasing a day after Thalapathy Vijay's Leo.
Telugu star Ravi Teja's Tiger Nageswara Rao is a special film in his career. It's his first pan-India release since it became a trend after the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The movie will be released simultaneously in all languages across the country on October 20. In Tamil Nadu, Studio Green, a leading production house, has bagged the rights to its theatrical distribution.
The production company officially confirmed the news on Thursday. "We are proud to release the Highly anticipated #TigerNageswaraRao in Tamil Nadu," tweeted Studio Green.

Tiger Nageswara Rao will be the company's first Telugu movie distributor after a long gap.
Tiger Nageswara Rao vs Leo
Many wondered whether the Tamil dubbed version of Tiger Nageswara Rao will find any screens in Tamil Nadu, given it's releasing a day after Thalapathy Vijay's Leo.

It won't be an understatement to describe Leo as a box office tsunami waiting to be unleashed next Thursday. Considering the pre-release hype and ground demand for the movie, it's likely to take over all 1100-plus screens in the state. And the theatres will be more inclined to screen Leo as opposed to taking a chance on dubbed movies from other languages, which may or may not draw audiences.
However, with Studio Green associating with Tiger Nageswara Rao, the movie is likely to get a decent release in the state.
Tiger Nageswara Rao is a period drama, which is written and directed by Vamsee. The movie stars Ravi Teja as an infamous outlaw and it also stars Anupam Kher, Nupur Sanon and Gayatri Bharadwaj among others.
