Nupur Sanon as 'Sara' in Tiger Nageswara Rao

Director Vamsee's upcoming film attempts to bring to life the legend of Tiger Nageswara Rao with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja essaying the titular role. The makers recently released the first visual glimpse of the world of the pan-Indian film to showcase its grand, larger-than-life canvas and also unveil Ravi Teja's 'rugged' avatar in the film.

The teaser also introduces other key characters in the film including Murali Sharma's DSP Viswanath Sastry, Anupam Kher's IB Officer Raghavendra Rajput and a few others. Jisshu Sengupta, too, plays a prominent role in Tiger Nageswara Rao as the antagonist and so do Nupur Sanon and Gayatri Bharadwaj, who are credited as the female leads.

Kriti Sanon does the honours

And Nupur Sanon's look in the film, which was kept under wraps so far, is finally out and as a courtesy of popular Hindi film actress, Kriti Sanon. Kriti took to social media a short while ago to launch the first-look poster and to also reveal that her younger sister plays 'Sara' in the film. Turns out, Nupur Sanon will also be seen as Tiger Nageswara Rao's love interest in the film.

"Nothing makes me feel prouder than to launch my sister’s first PAN INDIA film Poster!🥹🧿❤️" wrote the Adipurush actor.

Nupur, who is also a trained singer with the hit single Filhall to her name (along with B Praak), has acted in the web series Pop Kaun along with Kunal Kemmu, Saurabh Shukla, Rajpal Yadav, Chunky Pandey and Ashwini Kalsekar. Tiger Nageswara Rao, in this vein, will be the first major project of her budding career.

Former model, actress Renu Desai makes a comeback to cinema with a key role in Tiger Nageswara Rao. With her last acting credit coming as many as twenty years ago in Pawan Kalyan's (her former husband) Johnny one certainly looks forward to how Renu Desai fits in this world. Wikipedia reveals that she will be seen playing real-life social reformer and author Hemalatha Lavanam in the film.

'Ittu Si Baat' fame Gayatri Bharadwaj, too, is part of the film but the makers are yet to unveil her look in the film.

Abhishek Agarwal (The Kashmir Files) has produced Tiger Nageswara Rao under his home banner of Abhishek Agarwal Arts. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director and R Madhie the cinematographer.
