Tiger Nageswara Rao is the first Telugu film to be released in Indian Sign Language

Ravi Teja's film is based on the real-life incidents of the notorious thief Tiger Nageswara Rao and the people of Stuartpuram.

The excitement over the much-awaited Telugu film Tiger Nageswara Rao has surged following the release of its theatrical trailer, with fans eagerly waiting to see Ravi Teja back on the big screen. The latest is that, apart from being a multi-lingual release, the film will also be available in Indian Sign Language (ISL).

A treat for special fans

By releasing in ISL as well, Tiger Nageswara Rao becomes the first Telugu film to be released in sign language. Fans have lauded this move towards inclusivity. The filmmakers even unveiled a special trailer for the hearing impaired, widening the reach of the film.

The first ever film to be accessible in ISL was Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files. The film entered the International Book of Records as a result of this.

Cast and crew of Tiger Nageswara Rao

The movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast, which includes Anupam Kher, Murali Sharma, Sudev Nair, Renu Desai, Nassar, Anukreethy, Hareesh Peradi, and Jisshu Sengupta. The film is produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

About the film

According to an official statement released by the makers of the film, Tiger Nageswara Rao is a period drama that is set in the 1970s. It is based on the real-life incidents of the notorious thief Tiger Nageswara Rao and the people of Stuartpuram.

Tiger Nageshwar Rao will be released in theatres worldwide on October 20.
