Tiger 3, an action-drama starring Salman Khan Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi, opened big at the box office with an impressive collection. However, post-Diwali and Bhai Dooj, the film saw a sharp decline on day 4, largely because of the crucial India-New Zealand Cricket World Cup match.
The movie brought in ₹188.25 crore net in India. The movie made ₹44.50 crore on day one, ₹59.25 crore on day two, ₹44.75 crore on day three, ₹21.25 crore on day four, and ₹18.50 crore on day five.
Tiger 3 worldwide box office collection
At the worldwide box office, Maneesh Sharma's Tiger 3 has surpassed ₹300 crore. According to a press release from the movie's crew, Tiger 3 brought in ₹229 crore at the box office (₹188.25 crore net). Globally, it brought about ₹71 crore ($8.50 million). The movie has made ₹300 crore in gross revenue globally to date ($36.15 million).
About Salman Khan's hits and flops
Tiger 3 will undoubtedly surpass the first Tiger's Rs 335 crore worldwide gross. On the other hand, Tiger Zinda Hai brought in almost Rs 560 crore globally. Meanwhile, Tiger 3 is poised to become Salman Khan's biggest hit in six years following a string of underwhelming releases, including Race 3, Dabangg 3, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
For the uninitiated, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which grossed over Rs 900 crore worldwide, is still Salman's highest-grossing movie to date.

In the YRF Spy Universe, Tiger 3 comes after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, who played Avinash and Zoya, respectively, are back in the movie.
