Tiger 3 on OTT - Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's actioner releasing online soon; details inside

Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi starrer Tiger 3 is the fifth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe.

Here's some good news for all the fans who have been waiting impatiently for the release of the actioner Tiger 3 on the OTT platform. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi starrer much-awaited action thriller, which has been creating big hype is now all set to release on Amazon Prime Video. As of right now, Tiger 3 is getting ready for its January 7, 2024, global debut on Prime Video.

It's interesting to note that the movie will also debut on OTT on Sunday. Prior to this, the film's Diwali cinema release took place on November 12, 2023, a Sunday.

However, when announcing the film's debut on their platform, Prime Video simply wrote "coming soon" on their social media accounts without mentioning the release date. Sharing the poster of the film, the platform wrote: "we heard the roars, tiger is on his way 🐅

#Tiger3OnPrime, coming soon."

Tiger 3 box office collection

On the day of release, the film brought in ₹44.50 crore. The movie has made ₹466.63 crore (US$58 million) in box office receipts globally, ranking sixth among Hindi movies of 2023 and eighth among Indian movies of the same year.

Salman Khan, Katrina, and Emraan Hashmi play the main parts in the action thriller Tiger 3. It debuted on November 12 in theaters and was directed by Maneesh Sharma. It is the third installment in the Tiger franchise and along with other films like War and Pathaan, it is a part of the YRF Spy Universe. The film also has cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan and a post-credit scene featuring Hrithik Roshan.

Similar to the first two installments, Tiger Zinda Hai and Ek Tha Tiger, the movie centers on a new operation involving ISI spy Zoya (Katrina) and RA&W agent Tiger (Salman). Kabir Khan helmed the first installment, Ek Tha Tiger, which was released in 2012. With Tiger Zinda Hai, the franchise expanded in 2017. Ali Abbas Zafar directed the second installment.
