Tiger 3: Katrina Kaif takes forward towel series restarted by Ranbir Kapoor in Animal

The towel series is back in Bollywood. Restarted by Ranbir Kapoor in his movie Animal, Katrina Kaif is the latest to join the club. She is seen in a towel scene in the trailer of her upcoming film, Tiger 3. Both the movies will release in theatres under a month and the fans will get to see the towel series on the big screen.

Katrina wrapped a bedsheet in Ek Tha Tiger. This was when she was romancing Salman on-screen. Zoya had just fallen in love and ran away with Avinash Rathore aka Tiger. This time, she is fighting a woman in a sauna. Thus, they both have a towel on themselves.

Ranbir Kapoor and the towel are a love story in Bollywood. The actor made his debut in the towel series with his own debut Bollywood movie, Saawariya. The Kapoor ‘chirag’ went viral for dropping the towel and going full monty in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial. Years later, he recreated the same in Animal, in the first song from the film, Hua Main.

About Tiger 3

Tiger 3 trailer released a while back. The film is helmed by Maneesh Sharma and sees Tiger and Zoya back as a family. This time, however, Tiger is forced to choose between his family and his country. Emraan Hashmi plays the antagonist, a Pakistani agent, in the movie.

Tiger 3 is from the YRF Spy Universe and will also see Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo appearance as Pathaan. The movie is scheduled for a Diwali release. It will be out on November 12.

Meanwhile, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed Animal will be out in theatres on December 1. It features Ranbir and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles with Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol playing pivotal characters.
